Flying in
Coming from out of town? Chicago has two airports: O'Hare (ORD) and Midway (MDW). Both are connected to downtown by the El — the Blue Line from O'Hare and the Orange Line from Midway. Taxis and rideshares are easy options, too.
Hotels
We're putting together a few hotel recommendations to make planning your stay a little easier. We'll share those here once our venues are confirmed.

Getting Around

The El
Our favorite way to skip Chicago traffic. The El connects neighborhoods across the city, and you can hop on using a contactless card or your phone.
Rideshare & taxis
Uber, Lyft, and taxis are easy to find throughout the city, especially if you're headed somewhere that isn't a quick train ride away.
On foot
One of our favorite things about Chicago is how walkable it is. Give yourself some time to wander the neighborhoods, pop into a coffee shop, or take a stroll along the lakefront.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I bring a plus-one?+

Of course, if your invitation includes one! Everyone included in your invitation will be listed when you RSVP.

Are kids welcome?+

We love your little ones, but we'll be keeping our wedding celebration adults-only. We hope you'll enjoy a night out with us!

Can we attend the ceremony?+

Absolutely! We're having a ceremony earlier on Saturday, followed by our evening reception. Everyone invited to the wedding is welcome to join us, but there's no expectation to attend. You'll be able to RSVP separately for both.

When should I RSVP?+

RSVPs will open once invitations have been sent. We'll share the deadline and details closer to the wedding.

What will the weather be like?+

It's Chicago in October, so a little bit of everything is possible. Expect crisp fall weather, cooler evenings, and perhaps some wind or rain. A coat is a good idea!
